!st Period
- Who, What, When, Where, Why How
- Cause / effect.
- Facts – text evidence from article
- Explain facts using some of your words.
- Vocabulary descriptive; use content words
- Proper grammar (3rd Person)
2nd Period (note to 2nd Period. Everyone else chose a Who, what, when, where, why, how format. If you would rather do that, follow criteria for 1st period)
- Claim is first sentence
- Evidence from text to support claim
- Reasoning –Scientific
- Conclusion sentence – restate claim
- Vocabulary descriptive; use content words
- Proper grammar (3rd Person)
3rd Period & 6th Period
- Title
- Who, What, When, Where, Why How
- Facts – text evidence from article
- Explain facts using some of your words.
- Vocabulary descriptive; use content words
- Proper grammar (3rd Person)
- Use quotes when quoting
5th Period & 7th Period
- Who, What, When, Where, Why How
- Facts – text evidence from article
