-Several students signed up to present their Genius Hour project next week, Tues 11/18. Everyone else will wait to present until after Thanksgiving break, and will need to present before Christmas break. Tuesday November 18 will be the last day to work on the project in class. Students should then finish up on their own.
- Green Building Techniques #3 on the Activity sheet is due tomorrow, except for 5th and 6th periods that had an assembly Friday. These two classes should be done by Wed. -Genius Hour is Monday; come prepared with what you need to work on. Genius Hour is starting to wrap up. Students not close to finishing need to start working on it outside of class some.
- In order to prepare for our housing development project, Research Green building techniques. A list of ideas is on the sheet handed out yesterday and today, We finished the research notes today. We did not get to the next activity, so there isn't anything due tomorrow.
Homework - After self assessing last night's paragraph, students had the option of turning it in or spending one more night improving it.
Assignment - Write a paragraph
Topic - What happens to native species when humans encroach? Students have notes on qualities of a good paragraph and a graphic organizer to get started. The video used to get ideas is in the Resource section under the Project title "Working Together and Living Together" Turned in Everglade article questions. Monday is Genius Hour.
